Fantastic stay at Cornerstones B&B

My wife and I had a relaxed stay at Cornerstones. The room is beautifully decorated and so clean. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts are super friendly and made our stay super special.

Amazing!!!!

Myself and my husband and my sister and her husband had the pleasure of visiting Cornerstone for the Annual Qualicum Beach Father's day car show June 16th and 17th. We enjoyed our time there immensely. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. No detail was missed. It was most enjoyable having our own private covered decks to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet and lovely view. While we sipped wine, a family of deer wandered through the woods across the street. The Cornerstone B & B is a true gem in the crown of the beautiful town of Qualicum Beach. We will most definitely be returning.

Comfortable, warm and friendly!

The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable. The house is perfectly setup for a BNB with a common area for guests that is cosy and has a well equipped kitchenette. The village of Qualicum Beach with it's small shops galleries, museums, and restaurants kept us there longer than we had planned and is the perfect getaway location.

Beautiful and Tranquil Stay in Qualicum Beach

Cornerstones was such a delightful retreat from the stresses of the city! We decided on the spur of a moment to escape to the island and, thanks to a cancellation, they were able to accommodate us in their lovely home. Everything here is gorgeous, from the picture perfect yard to the charming dining room. our room was beautifully appointed with a writing desk and a deck upon which to lounge and enjoy the tranquil silence. We felt the price was very reasonable for what we got and there was a nice common room with amenities as well. The place was a great base from which to explore the quaint and charming downtown of Qualicum Beach, and the beach itself was a lovely stroll and a pleasant experience. What a delightful place for a retreat—we'd live there if we could.

Wonderful Space

We visited the Cornerstone as part of an island road trip. We are both writers, and the beautiful suite we stayed in had two desks so we were both able to work. The view was amazing, and the B&B is a short drive or walk from the beach, and a short walk from downtown restaurants and bookstores. Our stay at the Cornerstone was the highlight of our trip, our only regret being not staying for more nights!

Lovely one night stay

We really enjoyed our girls getaway in Qualicum! The B&B is in a great location close to the cute downtown and a quick walk or drive to the beach. Bed was comfy and I was so happy to have a soaker tub! Would happily stay again.

Best B&B in Qualicum Beach

The B&B is so quiet and in a great location for walking down town. Rooms are a great size, they have a fridge which is very handy. Would not stay anywhere else. It is like a home away from home for us you can come and go as you like which is great if you need a rest. Thank you both again.

So close to everything we needed!

We booked this place for just the one night. Husband's idea, and I was not going to argue! We went to QB for the play, Pirates of Penzance, at the little theatre in town. It's just a 40 minute drive home, maybe 45, but he didn't want to drive home that late at night. So I booked this place, knowing that it was very close to the theatre, and the main streets in the village. Honestly, it was less than 5 minutes to walk to the theatre! It was that close! The place was beautiful. The bedroom is huge, and the bathroom is as well. There is a common living room area. No one else was staying there that night, so we had the place to ourselves. The common area has comfy couches, a fridge, microwave, and table and chairs for any meals or snacks you may have brought from home. The lights are on a motion sensor. So when you come later in the evening, and walk up stairs, the lights come on for you. That was great to have. I actually had fun with that, as I used the living room area to read my book in the later afternoon, while husband had his afternoon nap. Every couple of pages, the lights would go out, and I would flail my arms about to get the lights back on. There was obviously an easier solution to this, but I was too lazy to get up, and I had fun seeing how long it would take before the lights went out again. Useless tidbit of information, I know... Bathroom toiletries are great. No little bottles, but the big ones, same as you and I buy in the stores. Love this, as it is so much kinder to Mother Earth. Shower and a bath in the huge bathroom. Only problem I had, was getting out of the tub. It was just a bit narrow for me and my sore bones to get out! You leave your shoes at the door, so if you want, you can pack your own slippers.

Perfect place to rest your head

We stayed here for just one night and wished it could have been longer. The house was custom built as a B&B and has a lounge area outside the bedrooms. this means you aren't stuck in your room - you can go sit in the lounge. The lounge area has tv, fireplace, sofas, table and a kitchenette (microwave, sink, kettle, fridge). The hosts are super friendly and full of great local information. Highly recommend.
